The book deals with the Caboclinhos of Pernambuco (Northeastern Brazil), music-dance tradition that dramatizes indigenous cultural processes; brings photography, draft of courting and the Baque (musical group), 72 characteristic rhythmic patterns and scores that relate to a complete cycle of different music-dances that include a dramatization. The work addresses three traditional groups: Tribo Canindé, 7 Flexas (both from Recife city) and the União 7 Flexas (from Goiana, a city located in the North forest zone of Pernambuco). The CD-ROM (also able to CD player) contains 18 touches (including loas – recited stretch), video interviews, ritualistic images, and groups presentations live, scores and extra pictures.
